Back again. The reason I entered the show In Corpus Christi is because I have been down there so much. My mother is in a nursing home there and today I spent all day on the phone learning all the things I didn't know about setting all this up and trying to make sure she is happy at least with the status quo. Guess it is not going so well.
Maybe if I 'll talk about art for a while and I will feel better. So here goes. Sue Nomi that I uploaded yesterday is a self portrait. Yeah that is what I really look like. At least from the inside out. Sue Nomi is done on 5 wooden panels butted together and the center panel is the most significant with the texture. That is made of real garbage stuck on and covered with gloss medium and painted over. Guess it is the real me. At least as I feel at the moment.
So let's cheer up. Lookie Here, which I just uploaded, is a charcoal of my granddaughter. Makes me smile.
