Today, I will attend the funeral of a person who had been the backbone of our art association.  She died a few days ago and we are devastated.   Her sudden death was better for her, but hard on her family and friends.

  Think of us this day.

Dear ML,

How sad to lose someone you love so suddenly. I recently lost a girlfriend in NJ and her husband couldn't find our new phone number, so by the time he told me, she had been gone for days. I feel like she disappeared, and I cherish the memories of our times together.

On the other hand, my first hysand died of neck cancer and I was his caregiver for a year and two weeks. We tied up every loose end, said our good byes in great detail.

My current husband has mouth cancer, no jaw and can't speak any more. I have been caring for him since 2004. He is very weak and it is just a matter of time. Our love thrives, even without great physical contact. He sleeps in his own room in a hospital bed, and I sleep in the master bedroom.

I wanted to tell you how much I love your work. Having been to Hawaii (Kauai) seven times, the palm tress and Napali coast cave were very familiar. Your other pictures, of places I've never seen make me feel like    I 've been there.

Thank you for your words of comfort about my friend buying my chair. You are right,  I treasure her.

Live in the light,

Lisabeth
