I am so happy to hear some respone from some viewers and friends from this site, which enhance my desire and passion about art. Being an artist is never a easy career. Just graduated from Chico State this spring, I found the challenge and difficulities of finding a job with a fine art degree. I cannot believe I need to fill in the application with my job experience from Taiwan, where I studied International Business at high school and with a few years of business experience, if I did not have this to fill in the application, I may never find a job here. Being an artist, you need to be mentally and physically tough, or you will not ever meet your final goal as a self-spported artist, or practing art.

My past three months of job-hunging has almost destoried my strength of being an artist, or a dream of being a full-time artist some of these days. However, being a part of this artist on-line community has helped me through this hard time, and keep my passion and love in alive. I just want to say" thanks, everyone in this community", your few kind words to each other can create a huge power to someone like me. ellen

Please don't be discouraged! If you have to have a part time gig to help w/ the bills, so be it! Get roomies, grants, just don't give it up!
