Now that i am back from my trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico, I have to follow up on emails sent and get my butt in gear to finish up self-promotional illustrations. I have an artist rep in London and just got one in NY, so I am hoping I get going with the freelance - although it does take time. I have 3 kids, so time to focus is....difficult to find
I just got accepted into the International Guild of Realism, so, I'm feeling pretty good about that. I'm also trying to learn how to not get traumatised by being rejected, whether for an exhibit, or an organization...it happens. I didn't make it into a show in Boston...and that's ok. I think we really wear our hearts on our sleeves, as artists. But, I tend to over-analyze things in all aspects of my life, so I guess it's me!
I am also anxious to begin a new still life. My last one was done in March, but, with everything happening, it's hard to find that time. No excuses.....just do it, woman!!
