Good Evening art buds,
I would enter today in the top 10 of the year, so far. Sunday times, great coffee. My husband knows the Book Review and my other favorite sections and piles them on the arm of my chair.
Wander into studio, watercolor backgrounds. While they dry, push the slider and walk into the yard, filled with flowers and waterfront.
While I worked in the garden, Larry read in a chair, getting some sunshine and much needed fresh air.
I finished weeding and clearing my meditation place, a small area with a half circle fence (don't know why it is there). I planted some morning glory seeds and they have sprouted. Hopefully they will cling to this fence. I have a wooden bench with a curved back in front of it where I can read, meditate, add cushions and nap, it's a private place all my own.
I am sort of enchanted by these ladies faces I am creating and am almost finished with a second one. I love painting the wallpaper behind, then using petals and flowers, leaves and stems to turn them into wacky ladies! I entered one in the Madison Art Society's juried show yesterday, plus a second picture, to be safe.
Larry and I watched 60 minutes. It was exciting to see Haiti's Dr. Paul Farmer and his free clinic. Partners in Health is our yearly chairity. He is God-like to me, and I have learned a lot about him from Tracy Kidder who followed him around the clinic and elsewhere then wrote the book Mountains Beyond Mountains.
If I don't go now I may fall asleep here, not for the first time!
Grow in the light,
Lisabeth
