How long have you been doing what your doing?  Are you fresh or have you been doing it for many years.  My point is, are you satisfied with with your own work?  If so great!  If not keep working until you get results that you want.  Desire is 80% of success, the 20% is luck and talent.  If you want it go and get it.  Get what you want out of it and work hard to get the results you want.  Keep working, one of my favorite professors said look at what you like in someone else's art and steal it right away.  That's how you get better.

Emeila, We all feel insecure at times, but that's just part of life and as long as you keep trying you will feel better.After all beautiful art is in the eye of the beholder. Some people tell me my edges are too hard and I'm not polished enough but guess what I LOVE painting and will continue to try to improve and hope some others like my work.I think it's all about " loving what you do" I say don't worry about others and just do what YOU love.

I hear you. There are a ton of great artists here. Unbelievably talented artists. Im envious of most of their abilities. I just try to remember to stay focused on what I create and why I create it. I find that to helpful from keeping the self doubt from kicking in. Just keep doing what you do and remember why you create art in the first place. That is really what is about.
