Thanks for visiting my Visual Journey! I really appreciate your thoughts. And that is interesting...just torn paper! I have so many decorative papers that I, too, look at a lot. Sometimes I dip them in wax and use them in my encaustics, but I am inspired by how you're using them here. I may have to try incorporating them!

Very cool...I'm really liking the patterning contrasted with thoses areas of flat color in your work (although I also like in Lady of the Stars that there is pattern everywhere!). Are you collaging into these as well as painting? I'm interested in your process.
