Hello, my name is Faith and I have always been interested in the arts, but have only recently discovered i can paint. My first painting was the one in my gallery called Riverpool i did in August of 07 and i still think it's my best yet. My cousin wanted me to paint him a river scene. I told him not to expect much because i have never painted before. To my surprise i was actually doing a good job. It was not easy in any way but considering how proud i was afterward and the fact that i can actually paint has turned me on to maybe the idea of a career in painting. All of the paintings in my gallery are just paintings i've done for family members. I am currently working on a new series of paintings that are a lot different from what i have done this past year. They will be more contemporary with a theme of nature. Oh one important fact i forgot to mention. All of my paintings are 2-D. Most all of the rocks in my paintings are raised from 3-10 centimeters. I think it gives it a little extra when the viewer sees part of the painting coming out at them. However that is one thing i find hard to capture when taking photos of my paintings.

Hi Faith, I like your new work - especially like the moonlit night. I like to see that you're trying different ideas. I hope all is well - Pieter

Hi, thanks so much for your kind comments! I definitely recommend giving portraiture a try! I know what you mean about being afraid, though--that's kind of how I am with watercolor! Here's a tip on portraiture: if you go into with the idea that it has to be a masterpiece, you're going to be disappointed. Just practice on friends, family, models from magazines, etc. and it will start coming together. Good luck! Thanks again. :-)

Hi Faith, Sorry it took me so long to stop by to see what you've been up to. I like your landscapes too; we have a lot in common there. I hope to see more of them.

Cheers, David

Thanks, that's just who it is! I freakin love that show and his dancing. I froze a full frame shot of his face because I was so taken with the planes on his face in that blue light, all i could think of was getting it on canvas. thanks again!

 Hi Belcherf

You posses capital sentiment for figure, movement and bright but your figures are intersected with formats of your images and tied in small space.

The figures in dynamic poses demand a lot of space around them.Only in that circumstance culminate their expression.Dont complain because my comment I wade too with same problems when I drawing my comics.

Yours Mihajlo

P.S.Sorry because my english.
