| ABOUT ME |
I am a 73 year old retired engineer. I started painting 3 years ago as a result of a gift of art lessons from my wife. I have since become an accepted artist in my local community. My subject matter has been mostly scenes from near my home or here in Maine. I really enjoy painting the local landscape. I never fully appreciated the beauty of New England, now I see it all around me all the time. I paint the beauty I see. |
| HOBBIES |
Since retirement I have spent a lot of time golfing, active in fraternal groups, community, and church. Painting was a new hobby three years ago. I took my first lesson in March of 2005. Painting has been a wonderful experience and is becoming more than a hobby. |
