I have been painting off and on for my entire life. As a child I painted with water color. I also enjoyed using pen and ink to create my art work. I was lucky that my parents provided art lessions as a child. I won many local art contest as a child. I continued to paint with acrylics in High School and college. I concentrated on business management with taking some classes in art.For 15 years I developed a home accessory company that produced statuary, lamps, wall art, and accessories. I developed product and finishes for the product. Several years ago my partner and I decided to sell the business and open an Interior Design store where I started painting and selling my work.

I like to let my mind open and flow when I paint. I am drawn to color. Colors create moods. My art I feel draws you in. I love the way certain paintings I have done change color as the daylight hits it and even glows in the room that it hangs in. I did not think that I would be an abstract painter when I started painting again. It seemed to just flow after picking up a brush and canvas again after years of working on finishes for home accessories.
