Artist and poet Peter Mark Butler creates a fusion of Art and Verse. His poems depict the themes and moods of his paintings or inspire his brush strokes. As his paintings and poems are inseparable, he personally produces them as hand signed, archival quality Giclee prints.

PRESENTING THE ART & VERSE 'GOOD TIME JAZZ' COLLECTION
In his latest collection of prints, Peter captures the dazzling world of jazz in acrylics and prose, conjuring up exquisite performances of modern day Jazz stars. So keep an eye on his gallery for his most recent jazz portraits.

THE ART & VERSE GALLERY: For each composite work Peter displays:
1 The original painting;
2 The Art & Verse Giclee Print;
3 In some cases detailed sections from the painting.

POEM BLOGS: Peter writes blogs for each of his paintings where you can read his poems and discover his inspiration for each work which he includes on Certificates of Authenticity issued with the prints.

To discover more about Peter's background, his grand old octogenarian mentor, Frederick C Dickinson R.A. and his passion for paintings and poems, please visit his website at http://www.artandverse.com.

Well, perhaps you can't take credit for the website but you can certainly take credit for the neat art work and poems ! I'm sorry to hear about the MS but isn't it wonderful that he can be so talented and do such good things in spite of it. I take my hat off to him. And how great that the guys are such good friends. You are blessed to have them both in your life.

I'm very happy to hear that you are ok. Would you ever have believed that the world would be this "crazy" ???And that's the key word. "the world" not just one country !But we all seem to be coping with it.

Good luck with your project. I look forward to seeing and hearing about  it.

Thank you for the nice comments about my work. I tried to read some of the verses on your picture but I can't bring the text up to a point that is large enough for me to see. The paintings are very nice.

Thanks for the lovely compliments - I don't think my work has ever been called 'dazzling' before!

I visited your website so I could read some of your poetry - the poignant words really complement the images. Most of us have one talent or the other but you've blended both beautifully! I enjoyed the Oscar stories.
