About Me: My early roots are in New Orleans- home of the Voodoo Queen, Marie Laveau, mystery & magic, smoky gumbo & oily muffalatas, the dank smell of the Mississippi and the sweet tea smell of magnolias. I moved up river to Baton Rouge- the "red stick" to go to L.S.U. and work in a Disco while getting a Master's Degree in Fine Arts.Moved to the Rocky Mountains then down to Santa Fe, New Mexico then back to the Rocky Mountains: Estes Park, Colorado. Married, blessed with 2 sons, & divorced while creating mixed media "Story Boxes", oil painting, painting with pastels, painting on silk and learning to make baskets. Love to travel- have been to Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Japan, Angola, Portugal, Madeiria, England, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Vietnam, Bali & Java.Fell in love with vintage postcards in a small rare book shop on St.Simon's Island, Georgia & started using them in my art work.
