About Me: Ms. Rose’s art work is in the collections of many museums and corporations including the Newark Museum of Art, Voorhees-Zimmerli Museum at Rutgers, and the McAllen International Museum in Texas. She has had many solo exhibitions and has participated in group shows throughout the United States. Awards include Best-in-Show at the Mountain Art Show, Bernardsville, NJ; Computer Art and Photography Awards at National Association of Women Artists Exhibitions; and The Directors’ Award at the Period Gallery, Omaha, NE. She recently received the Best-in-Show award at the International Society of Experimental Artists Annual Exhibition in Houston, Texas.
A solo exhibition of Roslyn Rose’s “Hoboken Montages” was hosted by the Hoboken Historical Museum in 2006 and her 2008 one-woman exhibit, “Past Tense,” was at Ceres Gallery in New York City. Recently her Photo Montages have been included in group exhibits at the Washington Gallery of Photography, Bethesda, MD; National Association of Women Artists at the Monroe Center for the Arts, Hoboken, NJ; “About Photography,” Victory Hall, Jersey City, NJ; and Longview (Texas) Museum of Fine Arts.
