Artists have shaped a personal interpretation of the river through the media of their choice. Art on the River combines art and nature, fostering a connection between creative thinking and environmental stewardship. This unique collaboration will help ensure that the South Platte is taken care of for years to come. Cash awards will be given for selected categories, generously funded by The Greenway Foundation and the Connie Burwell White and William W. White Foundation. Guest jurors: Joellyn Duesberry and Deborah Jody. Established in 1987, The Art Students League of Denver is an inclusive and inspiring art school and community where students of all abilities are guided by professional artists to reach their highest potential Since 1974, The Greenway Foundation has led the effort to enhance and preserve the South Platte River and its tributes throughout the Denver metropolitan area.
