Title: MIDNIGHT OILS
Description: MIDNIGHT OILS is a fine art juried exhibition in the spirit of Halloween juried by Alain K. Khadem. The exhibition held at the MILLS POND HOUSE GALLERY will showcase works that celebrate the awesome power of art as a spiritual instrument that helps man transcend its primeval fear of death and of the unknown. The juror is not interested in works that are gratuitously gory, but is looking instead for works that have an added dimension and portray frightening subject matters in a philosophic, romantic, or humorous light. The deadline for submissions to Midnight Oils is August 15, 2008.
