Blog Entry: <b> Elgol </b><p>I delight in creating a fusion of paintings and poems produced as signed and numbered Giclee prints. I have included in my gallery the original oil of " Elgol " along with the giclee print which includes the poem. The Art & Verse print measures 483mm x 329mm. The original oil measures 760 x 500mm. The poem reads:<p><b> Elgol </b><br> Elgol, where, swathed in <br> Mists and mystery, <br> The Cuillins reach the sea. <p><b>An Authentication Certificate</b> accompanies each print explaining my inspiration for this work:<p><i>This view across to the Cuillin Mountains from the fishing hamlet of Elgol on the west coast of the Isle of Skye brings back wonderful memories of a glorious painting tour on which I was accompanied by my daughter and our ebullient Australian uncle. Hidden in the cliff face is a giant sea shell.<i>
