Title: Against the Flow
Category: happy
Blog Entry: Against the Flow I delight in creating a fusion of paintings and poems produced as signed and numbered Giclee prints. My inspiration for 'Against the Flow' was an illusive yearning for youthful interludes spent on the River Stour at picturesque Fordwich village in East Kent. Not in those bygone days the comparative luxury of the inflatable dinghy. The Art & Verse print measures 483mm x 329mm. The original oil painting measures 609 x 457mm. The poem reads: Against the Flow To row against the flow, To strain against the tow, Of bygone memories, And then let go. To breach the bridge And reflect on pleasant hours Spent on the Stour's Quixotic stream. An Authentication Certificate accompanies each print explaining my inspiration for this work.
