You hit the nail on the head; I do relate to Scully in many ways. Wish I was lucky enough to have the art museum down the street, soon...very soon (see www.amoa.org). I've also been finding connections with the gee's bend ladies - seems there is something innately human in the making, measuring, connecting and rearranging the shapes, textures and colors..."an abstract narrative of thought and emotion". I'm working more with "worn looking" paired with "new/fresh" more recently, hope to post some new work soon in between trips to europe and the far
east ;).

Hmmm I guess I can't see the titles.  Are you using cigarettes to clean up the paint??!

Hans Hoffman did things with color squares, the push-pull thing. I think he stole ideas from Kandinsky.  So far I don't find work of his I resonate with, but perhaps in person they really speak.  I know he inspired a whole generation. Maybe there is something there for you as well.

I think you might need to travel, to collect new color impressions.  Perhaps Ampersand needs to send you over seas or to the north, that should be easy, right?   They could relate, I am sure.

OK, the rest of your gallery is so geometric I will retract my Morris statement.  Perhaps op art or Mondrian, but certainly uniquely yours, colors and compositions.

Thanks for the widget, I think I got it right, and cut out some extra code ads.  William Blake was someone I studied deeply in college, but hadn't thought of him since an occasional image here and there.  Can't get it to play through the gallery yet like on the myartspace site, but it is pretty sweet. 

Still wonder about about the size of your forest of drips.
