OK!

About my education: Supreme (Graduated from the Omsk Pedagogical University's Faculty of Fine Arts in Russia)

I have living and working in city of Omsk, Russia. As the free painter I paint for all genres are: a still-life, a portrait, a landscape, genre and conceptual picture.

I can inform you I received the grant from Pollock-Krasner Foundation in 2007! It is great honor for me!
I am very glad that my creativity was estimated by the excellent charity command!

Also I am one of the finalists in competition ILOF First Quarter 2007 Finalists Writers & Illustrators of the Future.

In general I used to learn painting by myself and For self-education I was studing the painting of the old masters (from XVc.)

There was a special impression from artists: Leonardo da Vinchi, Brothres Limburg, JanVan Eyck, Rubens, Watteau, Degas, Gougen, J.Ingres, Dali, Matiss, Picasso, G.Wistler, A.Whyes as for different times are different influences but they were developing my own sight about the world and art!

But now I am free artist in the world.

Best regards

Andy

 Hi Dawnamarie,

Thank you so much for your admirable words! I believe that you have the great abilities and opportunities to achieve your wishes in your art! You have the diverse points of view on composition and good attention to work with details of canvas. Though I think, you haven't special art preparation
but you need to try to do any copies of old masters of paintings and to paint the still lifes from nature. It will be to assist you for increase your skills and crafts in art. It is good way! Let's go to top!

Andy

Andy,

Your work is beautifully illustrated, executed with dilligent skill and flawless realism. The shadows are so convincingly smooth, it appears as subtle as those of the airbrushed work. Your awards have come as a result, it is obvious, from years of very hard work. You have earned every bit of them. I am self taught with oil, and although I study and read all I can get my hands upon, I struggle to create such convincing beauty as your work. I pray some day I may be able to study with such masterful eyes and hands as yours. Blessed be your heart.

Hi andyda,

Your paintings are very interesting- I'm particularly attracted to "Clown in Siberia". Your objects have a convincing weight and feel to them, which is hard to do. Also I love how you paint the 'wrinkled paper' effect.

Can you tell me more about your subject matter and why you paint it?

 thanks, leah
