I have been on an exciting exploration using metals such as copper, brass, and aluminum to create large and small free-form shapes. "Every day is an experiment". My work is represented in 12 galleries around the country and in private and corporate collections such as S.A.S. Institute, Duke Medical Center, Bank of Birmingham, United Health Care, RBC Building in Raleih. Recently, my work was voted "Best of North Carolina Artists, First Place in Mixed Media".

That would be great, thank you. I'll look forward to it. Seascapes, yes... made fresh daily! ~Douglas

Anne, It's great to get such kind comments... especially from a fellow North Carolinian. I just looked at your site and I love your pieces as well. Your colors are amazing! I'm going to be making a trip to Southport in the next month. If you're still showing in the Spectrum gallery, I'd love to see your work up close.

Regards, Douglas

Hi Anne, someone was asking me how to navigate around so I thought I would choose yours ... I absolutely love all this eyecandy!!!  I really can't get enough of it.  Each little segment is beautiful and inspirational color - and it is interesting that you use chemicals to produce the effect.  Very very very cool... great color!  Yes, be back in touch later, cheers then, Sue
