Living in the moment...I have spent my life making many plans to only have most of them change along the way. I am planning less now and I am enjoy seeing life unfold more.

Last week I listed my occupation as an acrylic painted and this week I am listed as a works on paper artist. I work in both mediums and love moving between the two.

I live inside a world filled with art and artists. I have done art myself for as long as I can remember and can't imagine a life without it. I do collages on watercolor paintings, and also do acrylic paintings as well as drawings. I was a ceramic artist for 23 years and I was a textile artist for 10 years. I owned a gallery for 9 while pursuing my personal artwork. Some of those overlapped each other, but I was always making artwork.

I just bought myself a set of oil paints recently so I will be revisiting an old love soon. I love exploring something new and look forward to having a slow drying time and being able to push around the paint while wet into wet.

Art has been my income, my passion and my hobby for my whole life. Besides that I love to garden, to play with my dog, to meet and talk with other artists, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 21 year old son.

If I was not an artist my whole life I probably would have done something involved with dogs whom I have always felt a very close bond. My mini Aussie knows over 100 commands and is part of my daily life.
