I'm not sure I can name anything specific. I like movies on the lighter side. They are more entertaining to me.

In 1969 I painted my first oil painting and have been hooked on art ever since. I've worked in many mediums including, oils, pastels, charcoal, pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and porcelain. Most of my art is of animals, flowers or scenery, but I also enjoy buildings and structures that I find interesting.

Over the past 35+ years I've taught art classes to both kids and adults, shown my work in many shows and galleries, and won several awards.

For 16 years I dropped out of the fine art world to run a graphic design and marketing business, but I could never get the fine art out of my blood. I realized one day as we were driving in the mountains that I see everything in values and brushstrokes. I knew I had to get back to fine art.

We have two daughters who are on their own now but are very supportive of their mother pursuing the arts again.

In the year or two I've been painting and drawing again, I've had some success selling originals, prints and cards even though we live in a community that is not particularly arts oriented. The problem is there are not a lot of opportunities here to get ones work out there. I've also started teaching classes again and realize how much I missed that.

I really love nature. My husband and I moved to 10 acres on top of a mountain about 3 years ago and it has been a great adventure. We have moose, elk, deer and many smaller animals pass through regularly, as well as multitutdes of birds. I'll never get over looking out my window and seeing a moose standing there. It's great. When I'm not home, I love driving the back roads to take photos for future art projects.

I love to read, take pictures, enjoy the outdoors, and of course art.
