ARTIST STATEMENT:
"In this world of Political Correctness we often tip toe hoping not to offend. However, without being too heavy-handed, I choose to acknowledge Spirituality as my source and heed the inspiration of Christ. I enjoy the relationship between the creator and creation both as a creator of art and the creation of the Living God and Master Artist."
BIOGRAPHY:
An active artist Sha-Reese Cunningham is primarily self-taught though she did complete a year of study as a fine arts major at Maysville Community and Technical College. Since completing her first painting in 2001 she has been apart of a number of exhibitions independently and through the Ohio River Valley Artists Guild where she has served on the Board of Directors since 2004. Having shown works in the Kentucky Gateway Museum and Cultural Expressions Gallery in Lexington she has also received recognition in online competitions.
