I have been an artist for 20 years, but it wasn't until I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis that I started to take it seriously. I appreciate the little things (and big things!) in life much more now. In fact, I wouldn't have met my husband if it weren't for the MS so I wouldn't change anything.

Hi again,

Just saw your comment about the realist revolution. Yes, I believe it is upon us. If you haven't already, check out the Art Renewal Center . Talk about revolutionaries!! Read the blistering comment on 20th Century art in the ARC Philosophy article. Beyond their militant Classic Realism stance the site has a treasure trove images and information about realist art, the atalier system and a museam/gallery of realist artist in the Classic tradition, living and dead. Artmeisia is there.

In the end, it is all about taking our craft seriously so that we can clearly say what we want in a visual language that only painters have.

Thank you for the insightful comments. The line between photorealism and realism (my kind of work0 can be gray so some people. You have nailed it though. The realism of my and your type is about the underlying story or emotion that can't be expressed in any other way.

You show a very nice touch in your work. I would love to see more.
