Such a wonderful journey drawing, painting and exploring other media. Oil painting is my current interest, but I also love working with other media: pencils, pastels, watercolors. I would love to do more plein air painting, alas time is not always on my side. I love teaching art. The process of teaching others is the best way to be taught. I pray that I find the balance between my teaching and spending more time behind the easel.
I have always been blessed with loving people around me, but my life received a full meaning and completion when I trusted my life in my Savior Jesus Christ and now I live and create to glorify Him.

Narmin, your comments really made my day! Many times it seems we as artists get a connection with our work, but always wonder if anyone else sees it as we do.  These days I have sort of gravitated to portraits and 'slice of life' kinds of things because they seem to make connections with me.  Having read your profile and looked at your gallery, I can see that these are important to you too....many self-portraits, perhaps?  The connection is there in your art work as well.  Thank you for visiting my page!

Hi Narmin,

You're very welcome.  I do some painting in acrylics, more kind of interpretive, than realistic.  I've taken some classes but need to do more. I also teach art to little ones in an after school program at the school I work at.  Basic painting, collage, water color.  It is lots of fun.  Look forward to seeing more of your work.
