I'm a working artist and art instructor in Oakley, California (San Francisco area.) I love painting outdoors, and have been juried into several plein air events including the Carmel Art Festival. I also enjoy portrait and figure work. My favorite medium is pastel, with its rich, saturated color and direct application.
