I am an elementary school special education teacher by day. During my free time, I am an aspiring free-lance digital artist-designer. I design decorative patterns, and whimsical animals and girl characters. Check out my online shop at cafepress.com/creatureclub to browse my designs displayed on a variety of products. I also have a porfolio website at decorate-your-space.com. Enjoy!

I love music, all kinds of art and design (vintage and contemporary), photography, Victorian and Craftsman style houses, animals - cats, gardens and other nature environments - especially a walk in the forest.

Thanks for the comment on resort. It was done from a photo of a resort in Maui, and what I would not do to go back.

First I would like to say " welcome to this on-line artists community", where you can share and communicate people who know your thoughts, language and passion about art and creation.

Thanks for the comment on my work. The frame around my painting has taken me many times of try and fail to eventually find out this title suit the best for my title. I love texture and colors, and my experience of clay inspired me for this textural frame-like second painting on the same canvas, and it is done by gasso, model paste, material used for acrylic, and many coats of oil wash, glazing. You are welcome to ask any question about me works. Ellen

Thank you for your thoughtful comments on the "Riveted" Series. We need more teachers like you in the world to inspire the creative process and to show students another avenue to learning that is different than the mainstream approach. Keep up the amazing work.

 Sincerely,

H.R. LoBue
