Classical, Broadway, Jazz, Pop, Country--love most all music! I have several favorite playlists in my iPod that I love to listen to while I'm painting.

P.S. I do not consider Rap to be music.

Good mystery books--especially the ones with dogs and/or cats in them--Rita Mae Brown, Lillian Jackson Braun, Susan Conant, Shirley Russeau Murphy, Carol Nelson Douglas are some of my favorite authors. Love John Grisham and just finished reading "The Appeal." Last summer I read "Water for Elephants" and it was great.

Don't go to the movies but once or twice a year! Too busy! But love Tom Hanks and Harrison Ford.

Dogs have always been important in my life from growing up with my Dad's pointers and my Cocker Spaniels; later breeding and showing Long Coat Chihuahuas; and, presently, I am owned by two Japanese Chin ladies and two Tuxedo Cat ladies--well, one lady and one brat.
Painting is my full-time obsession and I celebrate animals in my artwork. Working from photographs supplied by the client, I do portraits as well as painted purses.

Rap or other irritating noise.
People who turn the volume so loud in their vehicle that you can hear them a block away.

Used to breed and show my dogs but now I just paint them!
Travel by motorhome (so the dogs and cats can to also).
Music is always playing in the background as I read or paint.
