I've got one of those creatures of my own, with another on its way. (teenagers, that is...) I had to smile when you mentioned whine followed by sherry... I guess that's one way to get thru it. :)

Happy, happy... -Don

Some really terrific work here! The armadillos...O.K. now that is a subject one doesn't see everyday. Loved the little girl that tore life in half.

hi and thanks so much. actually, the bugs were just an accident! i found myself at a loss for funky subjects to paint for daily painters and one day, at a site i was using for reference material, i saw a really interesting photo of a fly. i decided to paint it on a white canvas, trying to incorporate the negative space as part of the composition and it just evolved from there to where i am now! and i used to drive a volkswagon, it was my favorite car at one time. how cool are you? thanks again. your work is amazing! enjoy the weekend. best, suz

Hey "Big Sister". Thanks for watching... And for all the great comments. As always you put a smile on my face - even bigger than the one I started this FRIDAY! with. Your insightful thoughts on both "Curtain Call" and "Birthright" are well received...and it makes me giddy to know "Ghost Stories" creeped you out. The emotional responses to each of these pieces has been so varied which is rewarding to me. I think I may be onto something here...   -Don

I am really enjoying your pencil and ink work especially the little people.

And the pooch is right on funny...

I love your stuff.  What size do you usually do your pen & inks?

Thanks for your words of encouragement with "A Fine Mess". They mean a lot. I'm starting my next one now and it's a much lighter piece...which seems to be my MO of late - Something heavy followed by something light. Congrats, Sherry, on the upcoming murals. I cannot wait to see what you are blessing the schools and  communities with. Happy Painting and a Happy Summer to you.   -Don,   BTW, at the rate I'm going I'm going to be stuck with that blasted tarnished star until Fall, at the earliest. I'm obviously just not in your league of stardumb.
