Mostly heavy metal. There are others types of music and albums as well. John Coltrane's "Stellar Regions", Pink Flyod's "Animals" or "The Final Cut", and Tom Waits's Orphans-Brawlers, Ballers & Bastards.

I've read books on the Great Depression, various artists(Pollock, Rothko, Joan Brown), and enjoy the illustrated fantasy magazine, Heavy Metal. The Savage Sword of Conan.

I'm orignally from Lima,Ohio and have been living in Columbus since 1997. I've used various mediums such as pen & ink, watercolor, pastels and acryllics.
Now I use a water-soluble wax pastel similar to a crayon. The crayon-like approach to my art brings back fond memories as a child growing up. The similarities between a crayon and wax pastels is that it takes a certain patience to cover the desired areas with the bright, direct and simple colors.

I’ve taken art classes throughout my entire life, including college (drawing, printmaking, beginning sculpture) when I was attending The Ohio State University. Unfortunately, I was never able to complete my studies due to financial reasons. However, after all the art classes I’ve attended during my tenure, I still feel I got the most out of my artistic expression and style by doodling on sheets of paper and creating my color compositions.

Thank you LAndrae. Sorry for not replying sooner, Grad school is driving me crazy. I am glad you liked my latest painting. Keep in touch, I will go to Columbus next month I think, then we can talk about "birth of hope". Talk to you soon...

Thanks for visiting my site LAndrae.  Yes, we are in rough political times right now.  This was one of the rare political pieces that arose.

Bye the way , your work is fun!  Great shapes and color.  Awesome

I tried to make a solution to that. Go to my page and use AIM or ichat. Put in that name. Let's start the community! Thanks for your response to my blog :) asbAdamParsons@aol.com

Hey thanX dude! The paper I use are Blueline comic boards. They're the same pages some of the pros use. Dave at the Comic Conection used to order them for me. Then he sold the store to this new guy, and he won't do stuff like that so I have to get them myself. Blueline has a real good site if you want to try them out. I use cover boards mostly they are heavier and hold up better I have used some page boards but they are realy flimsy. They smear easily so you gotta be careful. I'm not much for photography I just dabble. The flag is the back of Woodlawn and so is the bridge. If you walk to the back of the Cemetary you can see it through the trees. If you come home in may I'll show you.
