Hi Kathryn, Thanks for the comment on "Stages One thru Four". The
texture is from the palette knife. I find myself going back and forth
with brushes one painting and palette knife the next. Keeps it all
fun... I still think the mask up above is one of your strongest
paintings that I've seen so far. Pink is also a nice addition to your gallery. Happy Painting, -Don

You are quite welcome. "Red Mayan" is a wonderful painting and my favorite of yours, so far. I don't know how I missed it, but I'm just now seeing "Brown Mask" for the first time. Nicely done. I notice more confidence in your brush strokes and color choices. Keep these beauties coming.

Sleep depravation seems to be working well for you. I know sometimes I open up my creative vault easier when I'm sleep deprived. I'm too tired for me to get in my way.  Keep up the great work. The cool thing about a deadline is you've got an end in sight...

BTW, what is the rigorous training you spoke of?
