| ABOUT ME |
After suffering poor health, I was forced into disability/retirement. My youngest son encouraged me to paint as therapy - I paint daily as I listen to jazz and it helps trump depression. I study oil painting with two professional painters. One of my goals is to become a proficient plein air painter. I have entered several shows. I entered my painting School Days in the Intermountain Society of Arts' Fall Show and received an Honorable Mention. I was accepted into the Bountiful/Davis Art Center Statewide Competition (only 99 out of 409 submissions were accepted). I also recently received a third place award for the painting Bitterroot River North. Finally, I exhibit at the gallery, Art at the Main in Salt Lake City. |
