I'm addicted to the creative process. Without it I feel that I would wither up and be useless. I crave creating. I prefer abstract art because each piece means something different to everyone who sees it. I enjoy relaying emotions rather than figurative pictures. I find meaning in relating the act of painting with a release of subconscious feelings. I see art as a form of communication, passion and desire.

I'm a huge fan of the Abstract Expressionism artists of the 40's-50's. My biggest influences are Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, Clyfford Still, Jean Michel Basquiat and Franz Kline.

I dislike arrogant people, mental blocks, bad attitudes, liars, ungrateful people, bad drivers, racism and people who chew with their mouths open/make sounds when they eat.

Painting, playing bass guitar, collecting tattoos, WWII memoribilia, rockabilly memoribilia and DVD's. I'm also a HUGE Cleveland Indians fan!

Hey Jason!

That totally rocks about your art sale!  - Congrats!!!

I love hearing about artists doing well and having fun in the process. - More power to  you!  Congrats also on the commissioned piece. That is awesome!

Recently I have been painting (after a long break) some smaller abstracts and some really small (A.C.E.O. paintings) non-abstracts.  I've been having a lot of fun and feeling inspired with them; That, to me is very important.  I went a long time without feeling that inspired creative spark and that was very hard.  But, now it is back and I am painting all the time.  FUN!  Hopefully soon I will get these new paintings photographed and up on this site.

Hope you are still doing well and enjoying life. - Wishing you the best,

-Jendria
