I am a professional artist working in Denver, Colorado. I am an active member of the River North Arts District (a.k.a. RiNo) and am involved at The Art Students League of Denver where I continue to expand my artistic foundation. I believe educating people who love and appreciate art will serve to improve the growing art scene in the Denver area. I conduct monthly open studio events and lectures in my work space, called Yellow House Studio, to help in this effort.

My oil paintings are narrative compositions based off perceptions of reality and recollections from my imagination. I distort the subject matter to fit within the dimensions of a canvas to tell my story. My philosophy seems to be most in line with the Expressionist movement, and I therefore call my work Contemporary Expressionism.
