I really like your watercolors ! They are very relaxing, and pleasing to the eye to look at. The more I look at them, more I enjoy them. Keep up the good work.

Your watercolors are great. Love the "Old Truck" ... reminds me of my grandpa's old truck. One of those you had to wrestle with to turn around. Nice work.

Beautiful stuff! Love the way you use watercolor...I have a preference for the oyster fisherman...I love anything with a boat in it...i just wish a boat was in my drive way ! Maybe next year......Nice work.

Thanks for your comment on my pointillism.  I usually use pastels in Quick Draws.  I have done the pen and ink in Quick Draws but needs to be very little.  I love your pieces I see above.  The antelope are great.  I love Wyoming, I have been here about 4 years

Thanks for responding to my question about backgrounds. I'm such a detail freak that I have to let go of that to do backgrounds- remind myself that they're the BACKGROUND and don't need the same detail. You seem to have a good balance with that. With the white horse the branches are darker, but it just makes it look as if it's closer to the horse, it doesn't overpower it because there's too much light in the foregound.  Nice balance. Thanks for the response.

Thaks for the comments on my work.  I am fascinated by the 'lost edge' concept, and still find it a challenge to implement - and I love it in paintings.  And I am seeing the lost edges in your work also, and that inspires me.

Hi Gary,

I think we as artists have an advantage over most folks, in that in the explorations of our passions we learn to appreciate the passions of others.  I read that you were a social worker so you more than most can understand what social venues are to a person with mental disorders (mine- aspergers, PTSD & depression) and yet around artists I seem to fit in.  I love to create and I think the autism is a good deal responsible for my talent, for I love to play with patterns and many I have talked to or read about, this is very common for people living with autism.  Being able to fit in and socialize helped me to gain more confidence in myself and start approaching agents and was accepted by a reputable one this morning after reviewing my work.  I have always been confident in my art but with the problems in my head, that is where I needed the boost.
