HI Deb I was just surfing around on a rainy day here in NY. I recently received a blog about artists who set up tents on the frozen lakes in MN- I got it from the Sons of Norway Blog- pretty interesting--it is  really so very cold there!  I cannot imagine cold that intense, it rarely gets to zero here. ok back to the studio just wanted to say hi-- chris

Hi Deb, thanks for the great words and testimonial. Happy New Year!

Deb, thank you for visiting my page and your supportive words. It is so great that you are having your shows in December. Where will it be? Hopefully 2010 will be my show year. I am looking on how I can manage to cast the sculptures in bronze. That is the expensive part. They don't accept in clay what a pitty.  I can't even enter a competition with a clay piece. I tried to cast in another medium it doesn't give the quality of the bronze. Upload your pieces that are going to be in the show. I would love to see them. Take care. Carey

Good to hear from you.  Have not painted for months; carving dolls and involved with abused children efforts on WeepNoMore.org   Went to a local court hearing today.  Started a book of a true story of abuse.  Attending seminars on child trafficking and doing lots of research.  I guess this is my next path.  Doll carving is a wonderful outlet and they sell.

So glad to hear you are a rising star.  I think about you often and wish only the best for you.        me

Love your new work.  Oklahoma has been 107 degrees.  Got through local art fest (I produce it) and waiting for weather to cool so I can do an outdoor mural.  Delivering a restoration today.  My dolls are taking over; selling as fast as I can carve and I love it - call them "My People".  Looking for gallery shows and slowly evolving my web site with paintings a secondary medium.  So good to hear from you; think about your regularly.
