My brother is a concert pianist / composer so I grew up with classical music which I love, especially Debussy. Jazz is wonderful, especially Miles Davis. Rock n Roll and Blues without question and the list is wonderfully long from B.B.King and Muddy Waters to The Beatles, The Stones, Bob Seger, Chicago and on and on. I listen to classical music or NPR radio when I work. I also play drums.

I like to read Art History,and about selected Artists such as Picasso, DaVinci, Gorky, Kandinsky, DeKooning, the scupltor David Smith, Louise Nevelson, Roberta Matta, Georgia O'keefe, Paul Jenkins the list is long and varied. I have subscribed to numerous Art pulications over the years such as Art News, Art in America, Art Forum, American Artist to name a few. I subcribe to Shambala Sun magazine and have subscibed to National Geograghic Magazine since I was 10 years old when I recieved the magazine for my birthday. I don't read novels or science fiction books, there is only so many hours in a day, but I do enjoy poetry.

This is a interest that I share with my wife and especially my sons. So I couldn't possibly list them all. Needless to say the range of movies is staggering from old to new. We saw Avatar a couple of weeks ago and we were all enchanted by it, a wonderful ride to say the least. Smoe of my Favorites are Romantic Comedies, I'm just a sap for that catagory.

I've been an artist for most of my 57 years. I received my B.F.A. in studio art from Kent State University School of Art at Kent Ohio in 1976. I also studied Graphic Design at Cooper School of Art in Cleveland for two years prior to attending the University at Kent. I shown my work in galleries and other venues in various regions of the United States. I am in numerous collections, mostly private and have been reviewed favorably many times. I have worked in Theatre, Ballet and the Puppetry Arts, designing and building sets and props . I have worked as a graphic designer in a wide range of applications from logo design and brochures, to the custom sign industry which I was rewarded best lighted sign and logo design one year in a contest in an industry magazine in 1990. I've also painted billboards and murals. This work is mostly in a freelance or independent contractor capacity while pursuing my painting and sculpture.

Nature, windy days, sun rises and sun sets, mountains, the ocean good food, good wine and music of all genres. Spending as much time as I can with my wife and two sons. I love and respect amimals and must have a dog in my life. I immencely enjoy comedians, the more edgy the better, I am still a fan of the late and great George Carlin and have been for over forty years.

The so called leaders in this country who display through their actions a contemptuous dis-respect for the American people, which is the middle class and vast majority of our nation.
Liars and cheaters who hurt other people for their own personal gain. Lastly, religious fanatics of all stripes, because they have caused far to much pain, suffering and death throughtout history to the human race.

Hiking, weight lifting / working out and taking photographs of nature of which Arizona is abundant with beautiful landscape.
