Cyndi, it is so  nice to see sculptors here, and wonderful work you have. Impressive and talented.

Cyndi - Yes, yes and definitely yes!! I would very much like to accept your invitation to be friend! More than that, I sense a kindred spirit and believe me, they've been few and far between.

I envy you in being able to be so up front with your art. I am a little more circumspect (read "chicken"????) but I identify immediately with your work.  I think we share somewhat parallel life stories...by that I mean (after having read your statement): roughly same age - Ok, Ok - I'm a bit older - but I don't feel it, damn it!  Me - 35 year marriage, 31 years a mom. (and boy did that serve as my identity for quite some time!) Higher ed - yes (graduated at 50 yrs). But also, this feeling of not knowing until well into a piece what exactly it's trying to say to me. (Forget what "I" am trying to say!)

Last - but far from least - a ceramics person who proclaims loud and clear that she is a sculptor...As they say, where have you been all my life??

In case you can't tell, I am dying for the kind of contact I think you may be. I know other artists, and I have lots of supportive friends (who'd rather I made something they could put in their kitchens), but it's people like you I need. And just in time...

I don't mean to come across as so "needy" - but the timing of your request is so what I needed right now. I look forward to the dialogs we may share, and the support we may lend each other.

I really enjoyed your jewelry pieces. I also got a kick out of your sense of humor in you work. A couple of my favorites are "Bergious Boudoir" and "Madonna of the Empty Mind". Good work.   -Don

Hi Cyndi, If I made you smile with "My Monkey Runs Amok" then the creation of the sculpture was well worth it. Seriously, if my work can make anybody feel better, I am acheiving a good portion of my goal. When a pretty lady smiles that's just gravy. I enjoyed checking out your clay work and I long for the coming day when I can fire up a kiln again. Thank you! Scott

Hi Cyndi,   Thank you so much for the nice compliment on "Inside Out".  That really is a pretty poor photograph of that painting...I need to reshoot that one when I get a chance...so, the faces staring in the window are more clear.  Thanks again....karen

I like your jewelry pieces.  Very earthy, organic.  Nice composition.
