I am a Viet Nam veteran and 56 years young. I enjoy my life and try to make the best of each day. I try to see in others what I want to be. I'm past judging anyone young or old and size. Its the heart thy have that matters. If I can let me quote Mr Bob Ross who I think was a great artist of wet on wet.
"It's not hard to learn to paint its harder trying to find something to paint." On that I agree.

Mountains and painting them walks on the beach at night

people who think they are all that and nobody else matters.

Thank you for your comments on my work!  You had asked about oil or acrylic, all of my paintings are in oil.  I have been to Brown County, IN but unfortunately have not had an opportunity to do any painting there.  There is much art in the region for sure!

I like your work as well.  It looks like you have a lot of fun painting on other "supports" than canvas!  Living in Vermont, I have had an opportunity to paint the odd sap bucket here or there...also have you tried working on a slate roofing shingle?  There are several here who pull together some nice scenes on slate.

Good luck with your painting and thanks again for your comments.

Hey, thanks for your comments! I really like your title and medium! You asked how long it takes for me to paint one of my paintings... less than eight hours, five at the most. Any more than that and I'm ready to move on to the next one. All the best!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND COMMENT YOU LEFT ON MY SITE. IT HAS TAKEN ME A LIFETIME TO BE ABLE TO DO WHAT I DO, I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO JUST KEEP ON PAINTING AND TRY TO LEARN SOMETHING FROM EACH PAINTING. I AM SELF TAUGHT I FEEL THAT I HAVE LEARNED MORE AND DEVELOPED MORE OF MY OWN title THIS WAY. I ALWAYS LOOK AT EACH OF MY PAINTINGS AND TRY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE THE NEXT ONE BETTER. ART IS A LIFETIME LEARNING EXPERIENCE AND WE NEVER GET TO GRADUATE. I LIKE YOUR SUBJECT MATTER BUT I AM NOT A FAN OF SAW BLADE PAINTING. AGAIN I THANK YOU. SINCERELY, HOWARD DUBOIS

Thank-you very much I have been trying to take techniques and put them together to see if I could come up with my own title but everywhere I turn someone has done that LOL I would use two rocks to paint with but I'm sure the cavemen have already done that, enough of my ramblings.

Hi! Thanks for the comment on my colored pencil blog! Yes, I also have colored pencils that are water-soluble, interesting, your wife's choice, to use ink over the pencil...All ideas are always good! ..Jeanette

Have you been to the sister site, CrafterCircle.com ?  You might like to list there.  I saw lots of these painted antiques when I lived in Alabama.  Interesting work. me
