I am an artist that likes to paint...no strike that...I am a struggling artist trying to paint...no, no, no...how about this - I am an artist, but I have to work to support my dreams of one day painting full time for people that get it and want it. Other than that, I drink and smoke too much and laugh too little. But mostly I have fun because I'm not dead yet.

Painting and creating in general
Connecting with people through my art
Lots of light
Books on the shelf and stacked by my bed
Bird skeletons

Angry people
The fact that I can't get a break with my art
Mosquitoes
Oh yeah...and root canals

Painting, reading, writing, painting

Great i found you again. Wanted to tell you I watch the movie BASQUIAT as well sveral years ago and although the actor was really yummy. I read an article in the SMITHSONIAN that was written by his best freind that was very upset with th story and he said it didn't even run close to fact. In a docudrama you expect alittle substance. Any I have the article somewhere because I always wanted to know more. I will look it up after the new year. I think Warhol took advantage of him as well as several other artist. Just didn't want you to lock in your opinion of him by movie. Just saw a movie today Beautiful America about street artist during that time. Basquiat would have been right at home. Maybe he would even be alive. Susan

Tried to get a closer look because I enjoy much of your content. But couldn't.   Have you ever read "Atlas Shrugged?"

Hi: I've added you to my friends.

I thought your painting, Fibanacci 42 was extremely strong. My compliments.

Hi!

Thanks for the recent visit and the compliments on my work!

I too sometimes get that creatively "cramped and tight"  feeling.  I was thinking of maybe trying something really different.  It's always easy to "play it safe", but man, is it dull.    I feel encouraged by your words and want to thank you. - THANKS!

Wishing you the best,

-Jendria

Hi!  You had asked me a little while ago to share my color mixing process - it's all straight from the tube, and I do "wet on wet" and the colors are mixed that way.
