I forgot to mention the ACEO thing....Art cards, editions and originals..

Artist trading cards 2.5 x 3.5" are for trading between fellow artists.

They coined a new acronym, ACEO for the buying, selling and collecting of artist trading cards by the rest of the world.  It's a small phenom right now.  Watercolor is a great medium for ACEOs.   I sell aceo prints for about $5 on Etsy, eBay and Artfire.

Try it!

I would love to trade one with you sometime!

Rebecca

Hi Tim,

I have to thank you for the compliment, as I think it may be the most profound I've ever received!  Thank you so much.

You work is amazing.  I love the way you capture moments in a day or a night.  The guitar pieces make me want to see them in person!  I really love the night paintings, too.  The Diner is terrific, just to name one of many!

 Regards, Rebecca

Hi Tim, I really enjoyed looking at your gallery. I especially like the boat & water related paintings.

Hi!

Thanks so much for your comment on my dog. She was a good companion for 15 yrs. until she died one year ago.

I was compelled to paint her and did a few.

Thanks again.

O.

Hi Tim, Thanks for visiting my gallery and for your comments on "Poetic Justice". I had noticed your work in the Main Gallery the other day and finally had a chance to go thru your gallery. My favorites, so far, are "Hours and Years Later" and "Calebs Get Go". Happy Painting,   -Don

PS I am having the worst trouble getting the word mispelled as "titles"
below edited into what it should be: "s.t.y.l.e.s". Maybe there's a
problem somewhere that isn't just in my head and hands.

Tim, Your words of praise are appreciated! Ten years of focusing on
marine painting (angered after a show judge said my observation of a
fishing boat was so poor--I knew she was right) has been one challenge
after another. My main issue was letting go of trying others'
impressive titles to let my own develop instead.

Your paintings
(what is your medium?) just give so much pleasure to me, I know,
especially your fishing boats. Who know why such obsessions happen--I
don't! Your approach offers so much interesting detail in the patterns
of light and shadow you create. There is a lot of attention to surface
texture too, which is very well done and delightful to see.

Thanks very much!
