I was born in Transylvania in 1962.
I have been drawing and painting ever since I could hold a pencil in my hand…
The field of visual arts I am working in is computer graphics. Through all my paintings – may they be hand drawings, computer graphics, photo manipulations or some combination of all these techniques – I try to use a unique language that shows my personal emotions and visions.

My second “love” is creating handcrafted jewelry. It’s fun, how the glass and little beads turn into a unique, beautiful necklace or pendant.

graphics, photo manipulation, changes, cats, dogs, cactuses, artistic and drama movies, have fun with friends, jewelry making

cooking..., stupid politicians, violence, liars, paying bills

travelling, gardening, making every kind of art

Hi Lina,

You are right, I am sure there is plenty of wonderful places in your country
Transylvania is part of Romania; I was born there, but because the horrible communist regime, I left that country when I finally had the opportunuty. Now times have changed, (economically there is better now, is worse here...) but I do not plan to return there.
I have been living in Budapest for more than 18 years now, the city still have beautiful parts, as your mother said. It's more crowded, more dirty:), but there are wonderful parts.
How did your mother happen to come over these places?
I will look up for some links about Budapest today, and I send it to you.

Well, there are many artist communities here, but everyone mostly is struggling for her/himself. Very difficult to be part of some gallery, some kind of closed circles. I don't really bother, as far I sold my graphics abroad and I feel very well on communities like this, Scuttlebutt.
What about you regarding this matter?

We have some things in common indeed, I love animals - and you won't believe it, one of my favorites is coala bear. I adore them, I am always watching them on tv, when it's possible (Animal Planet)

Well, I finished up in a pritty novel,
looking forward to hear from you,

best regards,
Anikó

Thanks for your kind comment about my landscapes. Its easy to be inspired around here! I just noticed you live in Budapest now. My mother used to travel there way back in the 1950's, she said it was beautiful.

Is there a thriving artist community?  warm wishes from Australia, Lina

I see we like similar movies, both enjoy traveling and like animals! Do you still live in Transylvania? I loved the film Dracular!
