While making a living from my art is an aspiration, my main focus and goal is to continue to explore and improve on my ideas and creativity. Teaching others to "see" the shapes and colors of the world around us has always been and continues to be a particular joy of mine. I feel that painting and drawing are a continuous process, not a means to an end. I am always surprised and a little disappointed when I reach the completion of a painting. The enthusiasm for my work and the creativity it evokes are continuously emerging and evolving. Please visit my website at: http://www.artfelt.com

Awesome works you have here. I love everything you did; however Lexie is my favorite. Reminds of my neighbors dog when I was little. I used to share my ice cream cones and lollipops with him.

Hi Judy:  Welcome to the new Group called 'Marketing.'  It's on the Groups page, page 2.  You have to click the 'view all' button under groups to get there.  I'm sure you'll find it inspiring as I have.  Barbara

Man! I adore all of your work. But the those African paintings are incredible! I looked at all of them after I wrote the last comment.

Hi Judy, Thank you for your generous comments about my murals. I have been painting murals since around 1989, but not fulltime. Fulltime, I have been a sign artist. I have wanted to move into painting murals fulltime for years, but in the small community that I live in, I have had to cater to the demand.  Thankfully, murals have become more popular in recent years. But being 58 has it's drawbacks. I find myself less interested in climbing up and down a ladder on a job. I enjoy the scaffold work a lot more. It's a lot easier on the back and legs. I love working LARGE. It gives me great joy.  The most fun is when you get off the scaffold and stand back for the full view and say...."I love it when a plan comes together!". I am currently doing a mural in a furniture store that has been biting me. It is mostly architectural in nature and the perspective is the thing that is the most challenging and ...when it works,...some of the most rewarding. But making it work can really make a person lose sleep. I start painting today. When I am done, I will post the pics here.

I really enjoyed your work. I appreciate watercolor and have only barely touched on it. You have mastered it really well.

Hi Judy,

I very much enjoyed your website and your story about Africa. Your paintings have captured the spirit of the subject and their beauty.  Curious about a couple of things: did you paint on location in Kenya or from your photos? Do you paint only in watercolor or are some of those in your gallery oils?

Very Nice work. I love animals. Your people and animals are nice. I noticed you've already been asked if you've been to Africa. After looking at your work, It seems like I have. Thanks for sharing it.
